In June Miss Miller visited the Port Lympia School in Nice, France for the return trip of a teacher exchange programme.
She spent time observing pupils and helping them to write letters to pupils here at Barr Beacon. Not only did she observe English lessons but Miss Miller also spent time observing and talking to pupils in French and History lessons. Pupils were very interested in our school and especially our uniform!
During her final week at the school pupils organised an ‘anglophone’ breakfast where they tried a variety of foods from English speaking countries. Bon appetit!
Strong links have been formed between the two schools and in the future we hope to embark on many exciting projects together.
